True believer by Nicholas Sparks

In the passed 14 weeks, True Believer has been my favorite book I have read. It was my favorite because the main characters, Jeremy and Lexie, were passionate towards each other and had a very strong connection. It demonstrated  love, and the difficult decisions that come along with it.  Jeremy was used to the city when Lexie was used to a small town. Jeremy had to sacrifice what he knew for the name of love. From the first moment Jeremy saw Lexi, he was in awe. He was in a live studio audience when he thought to him self, “the professional observer in him couldn’t help noticing how attractive she looked in her halter top and jeans. Journalistically speaking that is… It seemed like the vast majority of the awestruck audience-including the attractive blonde women the guest was addressing considered him a gift from heaven itself.” (1) This quote proves that even though Jeremy was trying to stay professional, he couldn’t stop thinking about her and how attractive she was. That was only the beginning of their romance, because the first moment he laid eyes on her, he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. This is one of the reasons why this is my favorite book so far. As the book progresses, they develop a unique love. This book shows great love and passion, which is why I had so many connections to some of my favorite movies, such as The Notebook. They both demonstrate Passion, romance, and Unending love for each other. In both the movie and story, the men fall in love at first sight, which contributes strongly towards both of their unbreakable romances’, which is why True believer has been my favorite book in the past 14 weeks. Image
